About the Speaker:

Dr. Haiming Luo , professor of Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Prof Luo received his PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, then he did postdoc training from Prof. Weibo Cai's lab in the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Prof. Annie Chan's lab in the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School from 2013 to 2018. During this period, Dr. Luo also received neuroscience training as a research associate in McGovern Institute for Brain Research Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, MIT.

Dr. Haiming Luo has a distinguished professional career in the field of biomedical research, particularly in Alzheimer's disease, molecular imaging, and biomaterials. His research focus has led to the development of novel diagnostic technologies, such as immunosensors and nanoparticle-based treatments for Alzheimer's disease and cancer.
