国家级高层次人才计划(科技部火炬计划)入选者,广州医科大学南山学者杰出人才,曾任佛罗里达州立大学医学院终身正教授,神经炎症与神经免疫学杰出教授,英国皇家学会Dorothy Hodgkin研究基金获得者。 现任广州医科大学教授。一直致力于神经损伤与修复领域的研究。其团队聚焦 脊髓损伤后髓鞘碎片与吞噬细胞的相互作用及其对脊髓微环境和神经功能恢复的影响。持续获得 美国 NIH、NSF 及多家基金会资助,科研成果发表在 Nature Neuroscience (被Faculty1000列为推荐文章), Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA (2篇), Journal of Experimental Medicine, Cancer Research 等国际一流期刊,共发表 SCI 论文百余篇,谷歌学术引用超9400次,H指数为47.
